The story begins with him finding the dead dog and deciding that he wants to find out who killed him. It's written in the first person as Christopher's book about his invastigation with occasional thoughts about maths or space. Well, these are more facts rather than thoughts. I really liked what he wrote about the universe so I'm going to give you a little insight into the book:
And then there will be nothing to stop us seeing all the stars in the world because they will all be moving towrds us, gradually faster and faster, and we will know, that the world is going to end soon because whn we look up into the sky at night there will be no darkness, just the blazing light of billions and billions of stars, all falling.
But the book is not really about him invastigating the murder as I first
thought, but it's about how he sees the world around him as an autist
person. As the story evolves, he has to talk to strangers and that is for him one of the most dangerous things he can do. Sometimes I found it a bit annoying, how he was holding his Swiss Army Knife in his pocket anytime somebody talked to him. But that's just how his mind works. After about 110 pages some very unexpected things happend and then he sets out on a dangerous journey, but I'm not going to give anything away in case you want to read the book. I can only say that I felt sorry for his dad and actually for his mom too, but let's say that in the end all the problems were solved.
