The last two books I bought last month are Veronika decides to die by Paul Coelho and The Curious incident of the dog at the night-time by Mark Haddon.
Veronika decides to die is a novel about 24-year-old Veronika from Slovenia who ... guess what ... decides to commit suicide. I've first heard about this book from my class mate and I quite liked the plot (she tries to kill herself, fails, falls in love, she is told she has only a few weeks to live and some inquisitive doctors are involved too) and lately I've been hearing about P. Coelho many many times so I decided to start with this book. I'll let you know how it went.
And finally The curious incident of the dog in the night-time. I saw this one in a vlogbrothers video then after a week I went to a book store and guess what i found? Now I'm halfway through it and it turns out to be one of my most favourite books! It' about a 15 years-old boy with Asperger's Syndrome. He's called Christian, he's never been further from home than at the end of his street, he knows a great deal about maths and very little about human beings. He finds his neighbor's dog killed with a garden fork and decides to become a detective at least for a while, until he solves the murder. So far I'm very excited about this book so when I'll be finished (which is going to be very soon) I'll definitely write another post about it.
Cheerio!
